Health and Nutrition

The water I use for drinking, bathing, and cooking all comes from a covered well. There are three covered wells in my village, two of which are safe to drink from. I know that these pumps are taken care of and cleaned occasionally. Just recently one of the pumps had some chemicals placed in it to disinfect it or perhaps to chlorinate the water.
The water is always clean and clear. Nevertheless, I put my drinking water through a filter. Because of this, I have never been infected with any waterborne parasites. (Knock on wood!)

Our drinking water here in Nema is fresh and clear. Because the wells are covered, the water is free of many pollutants.
