Objectives
Participants will be able to:- provide an articulated rationale for including global issues and education in the curriculum
- justify global awareness and understanding as “new literacies” for a changing world
- develop lessons and units incorporating global awareness concepts
- identify and select appropriate multi-media and print cross-cultural resources for inclusion in the taught curriculum
- share new insights and strategies with colleagues to enhance learning experiences for students
