Recipe: Popo Pineapple Jam

Materials & Procedures


  1. Popo (papaya)
  2. Pineapple
  3. Sugar


  1. Select fully ripe popo, remove the seeds, and scoop out the pulp with a spoon. Mash with a fork.
  2. Peel pineapple, remove the eyes, and chop until fine.
  3. Mix equal parts of mashed popo and chopped pineapple.
  4. Add 1 ½ cups of sugar to every 2 cups of fruit mixture.
  5. Boil until thick, stirring constantly to avoid scorching.
  6. Pour into clean jars (use bleach to sterilize them).
