Oriental pilaf with vegetables and raisins

Materials & Procedures


  1. 500 gr. of rice
  2. 250 gr. of raisins
  3. 400 gr. of carrots
  4. 210 gr. of onions
  5. 200 gr. of butter
  6. Greens (parsley or other) to taste


  1. Fry lightly the finely sliced carrots and onions in a vegetable oil.
  2. Rinse the raisins.
  3. Mix the boiled rice with onion, carrots, and raisins, put in dish and close the cover.
  4. Put the dish in the oven for 40 minutes.
  5. When it is ready, pour some butter and sprinkle with parsley or fennel greens on the top.
