There are 112 volunteers in Ecuador working with their communities on projects in youth development, education and health. During their service in Ecuador, volunteers learn to speak local languages, including Spanish and Kichwa. More than 6,200 Peace Corps volunteers have served in Ecuador since the program was established in 1962.
