Micronesia

There are 39 volunteers in Micronesia working with their communities on education projects. During their service, volunteers learn to speak local languages, including: Chuukese, Kosraean, Mortlockeese, Palauan and Pohnepeian. More than 4,300 Peace Corps volunteers have served in Micronesia since the program was established in 1966.
