Bowling Green St. University
12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
Women's Center, 107 Hanna Hall
Bowling Green, OH 43403
For over fifty years, Peace Corps Volunteers have served their country in the cause of world peace and friendship by living and working in developing countries. In the over 50 year period since the federal government agency was established, Peace Corps Volunteers have served in 139 host countries working on issues ranging from AIDS education to information technology and environmental preservation. This panel of female Returned Peace Corps Volunteers who served in Namibia, Jordan, Cameroon and China, will be facilitated by Dr. Margaret Zoller Booth, RPCV Kenya 1982-1984. All panelists are either recent graduates or currently enrolled in graduate programs at BGSU and will share their experiences of service. Hear their stories on how they made a difference in the lives of women around the world and how the world made a difference in them.
