Description

Serving in the Peace Corps is a great way to immerse yourself in a new culture, learn a new language, and have the experience of a lifetime.  In recognition of Black History Month, we will be celebrating the diversity of America and peoples of the world with a panel of Volunteers from diverse backgrounds and who served in Peace Corps across the continent of Africa.  Please join us at this Information Session to learn more about the many faces of Peace Corps Volunteers, as well as the application process and benefits of Peace Corps service, including grad school opportunities and federal employment advantages.

We encourage anyone considering Peace Corps as a fulfilling way to help others and the next step in their personal and professional development to attend and find out what it's like to be a Peace Corps Volunteer and specifically what its like to serve as a diverse volunteer.  Meet local residents who lived and worked in international communities.  Hear their inspiring stories, and ask questions about staying connected to family and friends back home and bonding with host families and communities overseas.

About the Peace Corps: Read more or watch a video about what it's like to be a Volunteer including what Volunteers do, where they go, and the many benefits of Peace Corps service. Or apply now to begin your life-defining experience.

To meet with a recruiter one-on-one, please contact 312-353-4990 to speak with the recruiter-on-duty.
