Serving in the Peace Corps is a great way to help a community in need, immerse yourself in a new culture, learn a new language, and have the experience of a lifetime! The Peace Corps has been dedicated to peace and global friendship since its inception in 1961. Valuing human rights is a core concept for all Peace Corps Volunteers. Stop by the Peace Corps table to talk to Peace Corps Recruiter and Returned Volunteer Rachael Kennedy (Uzbekistan, '00-'01) about opportunities to live, learn, and work with a community overseas. Contact Rachael directly for more information at peacecorps@vt.edu.

About the Peace Corps: Read more or watch a video about what it's like to be a Volunteer including what Volunteers do, where they go, and the many benefits of Peace Corps service. Or apply now to begin your life-defining experience.
