Description

The Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Phoenix and the Southwest Regional Recruitment Office are hosting "Peace Corps Extravaganza: A Journey Around the World in One Room". Come learn what it's like representing the United States as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Volunteers live in over 65 countries and work in six main sectors: Agriculture, Environment, Business, Health, Community Development and Education. Former volunteers will have tables set up showcasing their respective host countries. Panel discussions on issues such as Women and Safety, Serving as a Minority and sector specific topics will be offered. Bring the whole family for an amazing opportunity to learn about a country or culture you've never heard of. It's a like a free trip around the world!
