Description

Care for our world through Peace Corps. Public Health specialists are needed to address issues of global maternal and child health, nutrition and hygiene, education about prevention of infections and vaccine-preventable diseases as well as HIV/AIDs and malaria. Help improve a community's basic healthcare and develop sustainable solutions for community members to adopt healthy behaviors, while gaining global skills for your career. Helen Beck, who served in Sierra Leone, and Kera Halvorson, who served in Turkmenistan, as rural health volunteers will be sharing their health extention strategies enacted overseas.

Join us at this health-focused Information Session to learn about Volunteer experiences, have your questions answered, and gain tips to guide you through the application process. Make a difference in the lives of others and your own.
