Come learn how YOU can be involved in the fight against global hunger! MSU is at the forefront in addressing world hunger and poverty, and is working with agencies like Peace Corps and USAID. Attend to hear about cutting-edge research and participate in the discussion about global food security. As part of the event, enjoy a pizza reception with campus groups and local nonprofit organizations that are working towards a more sustainable future for all. Learn about great projects on campus and abroad, and how you can make a difference.
Meet Acting Director Carrie Hessler-Radelet, the head of the U.S. Peace Corps, who will be joining us for this unique event! Around the world, thousands of Peace Corps Volunteers are helping communities increase food security, production and nutrition; implement conservation practices and adapt to climate change; and alleviate poverty with food income strategies.
