Pursue a Service Career. Join us for a panel discussion featuring representatives from the Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, City Year, and Teach For America to learn about career Volunteer experiences, have your questions answered, and gain knowledge about how Peace Corps can be a step towards a career in international development.

Make a difference in the lives of others and your own. Peace Corps Volunteers work in these broad areas: education and English/ESL teaching; agriculture, forestry and environment; public health and HIV/AIDS work; youth and community development; and business and IT. We look for applicants educated and skilled in these fields. For those not specialists in these fields, gaining six to nine months of experience related to one of the program areas will enhance your Peace Corps application. Click Here to learn more about qualifying for assignment areas, as well as resources for additional volunteer experience if needed.
