University of South Florida

Marshall Student Center Ballroom
4202 E. Fowler Avenue
Tampa, FL 33620
One of the goals of the Peace Corps is to help the people of other countries gain a better understanding of Americans and our multicultural society. The agency actively recruits people with a variety of backgrounds and experiences to best share our nation's greatest resource, its people, with the communities where Volunteers serve around the globe.
Attend this social event in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Join USF and the Tampa Bay community as we celebrate the beginning of Hispanic Heritage month with speakers, performances, food and more! Diversity events are opportunities to dine on specific cuisine, hear stories from diverse Volunteers, and learn about various cultures. You will also be able to learn about Volunteer benefits, have your questions answered, and gain tips to guide you through the application process from a Peace Corps Campus Recruiter.
Free and open to the public but please register and RSVP by emailing Peggy DeFay, USF Campus Recruiter, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
About the Peace Corps: Read more or watch a video about what it's like to be a Volunteer including what Volunteers do, where they go, and the many benefits of Peace Corps service. Or apply now to begin your life-defining experience.
