Special Event: Dine and Mingle with Peace Corps Applicants, Invitees, and Returned Volunteers
7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
No Mas Cantina
180 Walker St SW
Atlanta, GA 30313
One of the goals of the Peace Corps is to help the people of other countries gain a better understanding of Americans and our multicultural society. The agency actively recruits people with a variety of backgrounds and experiences to best share our nation's greatest resource, its people, with the communities where Volunteers serve around the globe.
Attend this social event in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and mingle with applicants, Peace Corps Invitees, Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, and Peace Corps staff. Diversity dinners are opportunities to dine on a specific cuisine, hear stories from diverse Volunteers, and learn about various cultures. You will also be able to learn about Volunteer benefits, have your questions answered, and gain tips to guide you through the application process from a Peace Corps Recruiter.
Free to mingle, dinner starts at 7pm. Look for Peace Corps' reserved seating upstairs. Dine for $15.00, includes menu entree and drink. Open to the public but please register below to RSVP or email Leslie Jean-Pierre at LjeanPierre@cau.edu.
About the Peace Corps: Read more or watch a video about what it's like to be a Volunteer including what Volunteers do, where they go, and the many benefits of Peace Corps service. Or apply now to begin your life-defining experience.
