You're inspired to help a community in need overseas. Invite your family and friends to support your Peace Corps journey. Bring your loved ones to a special presentation designed to address the questions and concerns of family and friends. The event will feature family members of Volunteers who will discuss topics such as safety, health, staying in contact, and how Volunteers evolve as a result of their experience. You can also mingle with Peace Corps staff, returned Volunteers, and family members after the panel.

Please pre-register by clicking the below "Register Now" button at the bottom of this page.   The event is free and open to public.  Please contact Chad Chernet at cchernet@peacecorps.gov for more information.

More for Families:  When prospective Volunteers share their plans to apply to the Peace Corps, their family and friends often react with enthusiasm, supporteven admiration. Parents, siblings, and friends are thrilled to see their loved ones follow their dreams.  Read information for families of Volunteers, including how the Peace Corps keeps safety its top priority.

Or apply now to begin your life-defining experience.  We recommend you submit your application one year in advance of your target departure date so we can match your skills to openings as they become available.
