Info Session: Make a Difference Abroad

Make a difference in the lives of others and your own. Serving in the Peace Corps is a great way to help a community in need, immerse yourself in a new culture, learn a new language, and have the experience of a lifetime. Join us at this Information Session to learn about Volunteer experiences, have your questions answered, and gain tips to guide you through the application process.

SPECIAL GUEST:  Samantha Maranell, 2010 Gustavus grad, will share stories and slides from her service in Samoa where she was an English Literacy and Community Development Volunteer from 2010-2012. Registration for this event is encouraged, but not required to attend. 

Can't make it to the info session?  Stop by and see recruiter and Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, Erin McGillivray, at Careers Possible in the Heritage Room of the Campus Center from 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. that same day.

Peace Corps is seeking dedicated people to fill thousands of positions around the world.  The best way to know if you qualify for Peace Corps service is to apply.  Submit an online application by September 30 to be considered for an assignment departing spring or summer 2014.  Class of 2013 and 2014, apply now to be serving overseas after graduation.
