Description

Make a difference in the lives of others and your own. Help a community in need and become a global citizen with Peace Corps service. Join us at these upcoming events to learn about Volunteer experiences, have your questions answered, and gain tips to guide you through the application process.

Join us at the Peoria Riverfront Museum for the first Peace Corps Expo! This is a unique event in which local Peace Corps volunteers will be gathering in a celebration of their service!  Join us to hear their stories, talk with them about where they served and how service impacted their lives. Volunteers will bring artifacts from their service and we will have videos about Peace Corps service around the world on-demand for you to enjoy. If you would like to learn a new phrase, hear about cultures around the world and to celebrate those who have served their country, this is your chance! A local Peace Corps recruiter will also be on hand to talk to you about current areas of service and how to ensure that you are a competitive candidate. FREE and open to the public!

The main entrance of the Peoria Riverfront Museum is located on Washington Street.
