Description

Serving in the Peace Corps is a great way to immerse yourself in a new culture, learn a new language, and have the experience of a lifetime. Join us at this casual drop-in chat at Jittery Joe's to learn about the 27-month Peace Corps Volunteer program, as well as health volunteer opportunities in the Macon area that can make you a more competitive Peace Corps applicant. Peace Corps Recruiter and former Health Volunteer in Malawi, Becky Ament, will be available to talk about the benefits and application process of Peace Corps. She will be joined by representatives of Central City AIDS Network, Inc., a local nonprofit HIV/AIDS awareness organization, and Habitat for Humanity.
