Serving in the Peace Corps is a great way to immerse yourself in a new culture, learn a new language, and have the experience of a lifetime. Join us at this community service panel to learn how volunteers of the DeKalb County Library literacy program, AmeriCorps, and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers are making a difference in their local community and how this experience translates to Peace Corps service.
Peace Corps recruiter, Emily Whitfield, will be present to tell you how to make your experience work overseas, have your questions answered, and gain tips to guide you through the application process.
About the Peace Corps: Read more or watch a video about what it's like to be a Volunteer including what Volunteers do, where they go, and the many benefits of Peace Corps service. Or apply now to begin your life-defining experience. Submit an online application by August 30th to be considered for programs departing before September 2014!
