Considering a career in International Sustainable Development? Do you see yourself working overseas for the Government or perhaps a well-known international NGO? Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of community members?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should consider becoming a Peace Corps volunteer after graduation. Today's Peace Corps is making a difference. We connect global citizens to sustainable development projects with tangible results. We are working in emerging and essential areas such as sustainable agriculture and microfinance, and contributing to the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. The application process takes 9 12 months from the day you apply to your date of departure; so NOW is the time to start preparing! Peace Corps' Open Office Hours at Keene State will provide a space to talk with a local Recruiter who successfully completed service. You will learn how to be a more competitive applicant; the practical benefits; and you will leave with an understanding of current projects in the field. You may bring a resume to be reviewed if you wish.
ut the Peace Corps: Read more or watch a video about what it's like to be a Volunteer including what Volunteers do, where they go, and the many benefits of Peace Corps service. Or apply now to begin your life-defining experience.
