Please plan to join us on March 2 for WNC RPCV "Service Saturday".
We will participate in the national celebration of Peace Corps Week by volunteering at MANNA FoodBank to fill MANNA Packs to assist the 29% of kids in WNC who live in food insecure households. Let's step up to PC HQ's call for RPCVs across the country to Think Globally and Act Locally on March 2!
Details: Plan to arrive at MANNA FoodBank on Saturady March 2, around 10 minutes early so we can begin promptly at 1:00. The location is 623 Swannanoa River Road in East Asheville. Wear comfortable clothes. It can be chilly in the warehouse. We will work from 1:00 to 3:30.
RSVP is required, as we have a limit of 30 people. Just email Cindy Threlkeld to RSVP (firstname.lastname@example.org).
