One of the goals of the Peace Corps is to help the people of other countries gain a better understanding of Americans and our multicultural society.The Peace Corps actively recruits people with a variety of backgrounds and experiences to best share our nation's greatest resource, its people, with the communities where Volunteers serve around the globe.
Attend this social event in honor of Hispanic Heritage Monthand mingle with applicants, Peace Corps Invitees, Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, and Peace Corps staff. Diversity dinners are opportunities to dine on aspecific cuisine, hear stories from diverse Volunteers, and learn about various cultures. You will also be able tolearn about Volunteer benefits, have your questions answered, and gain tips to guide you through theapplication processfrom a Peace Corps Recruiter.
