Description

The North Carolina Peace Corps Association (NCPCA) invites Peace Corps applicants, prospective Volunteers, returned Volunteers, and families and friends of current Volunteers to attend its 17th Annual Peace Corps Fall Picnic! Returned Volunteers will be in attendance and tell a two or three minute story about their favorite Peace Corps experience. Share your stories of service and learn more about what it's like to serve as a Volunteer.

Food will be served at 1:00 p.m. NCPCA will provide cheeseburgers, hamburgers, and hot dogs along with basic drinks such as water or soda. Please bring a side dish, fruit or a dessert to share with the group. Invite your friends and family to attend. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

Directions: Take I-40 towards RDU airport. Get off at the Aviation Parkway exit and go south on Aviation Parkway (left if you are coming from the east on I-40 or right if you are coming from the West). The park entrance is to the left. Look for signs to the Beech Shelter at Lake Crabtree County Park.

Please send RSVP by September 1 to Bob Wright at 919-309-9622 or BobWinCarrboroNC@aol.com.
