Peace Corps service is the opportunity of a lifetime and offers two years of international experience. Come to this Brown Bag Lunch and Learn to find out how Peace Corps service made a difference in a local community as well as the life a volunteer.
Amanda Svantesson DeGidio, who served in the Dominican Republic, will share stories, photos, and artifacts from service. Hear first-hand what it was like to live in another country and become a part of another culture and community.
This event is free and open to the public. You do not need to be a University of Minnesota student in order to attend.
