Peace Corps service is the opportunity of a lifetime and offers two years of international experience. Come to this Brown Bag Lunch and Learn to find out how Peace Corps service made a difference in a local community as well as the life a volunteer.
Rhoda Brooks and Jess Brogger, who served in Ecuador from 1962 to 1964 and 2004 to 2007 respectively, will share stories, photos, and artifacts from their experiences across the decades. Hear first-hand what it was like to live in another country and become a part of another culture and community.
This event is free and open to the public. You do not need to be a University of Minnesota student in order to attend.
