Serving in the Peace Corps has many professional and personal benefits such as deferment of student loans, free medical and dental care, grad school programs with financial assistance, and two years of international work experience, to name a few.

The Peace Corps is making a difference in communities served through development projects with tangible results in over 70 countries. Our programs provide volunteers with 21st century job preparation. Peace Corps is an independent international development agency of the federal government established in 1961 by John F. Kennedy.

Programs are 27 months in length, including extensive cultural, language and technical training. Volunteers serve in Africa, North Africa / Middle East, Latin America, Eastern Europe, the Caribbean, Asia, and the Pacific Islands. Our sectors are: Business, Health, Education, Information Technology, Community Development, Agriculture and Environment.  Benefits include round trip airfare, 3 months of training, a living stipend, student loan deferral, medical insurance, vacation, housing, and a readjustment allowance of $7,425.
