Bulgaria
Wine making has been customary in Bulgaria for centuries, and special Bulgarian favorites include rakija (fruit liquor) and the essential Bulgarian mavrud (red wine).
Of course, wine isn't the main diet of these countrymen. Their rich salads and creamy dairy products such as yogurt are enjoyed at almost every meal. A popular cooking method in Bulgaria is to start by cooking the meat, and then gradually all ingredients into one saucepan.
Snezhanka (yogurt and cucumber salad)

- 1-2 Tablespoons of oil
- 1 teaspoon salt (if your pickles are salty, you can omit the salt)

- 2-3 cloves crushed garlic
- 2-3 teaspoons ground walnuts
Directions
- Cut the pickles/cucumbers into tiny cubes.
- Mix all the ingredients except for the walnuts.
