Correspond with a Volunteer

Through the Peace Corps' Coverdell World Wise Schools program, you can connect your class with a Peace Corps Volunteer. Letters, e-mails, videos, photos, and phone calls are just some of the ways classrooms and Volunteers share ideas and stories in a Correspondence Match.

You can also learn about life in the Peace Corps through Speakers Match, a program that will bring a returned Peace Corps Volunteer to your school or community. You'll get the chance to hear firsthand what it was like to live and volunteer abroad for two years.

If you are interested in getting your classmates involved in a Peace Corps Correspondence Match or Speakers Match, ask your teacher to contact wwsinfo@peacecorps.gov, or call World Wise Schools at 800.424.8580, ext. 1450 to learn more.
