&lt;p&gt;
	This position assists management and senior exercise planners with liaison duties working closely with federal interagency and State and local jurisdictions; assisting with the development and maintenance of policies, plans, and procedures; and assisting with the coordinated delivery of targeted exercise assistance to meet customer demands.&lt;br /&gt;
	&lt;br /&gt;
	The incumbent supports and assists with the routine aspects of the administration of exercise programs, projects, and support activities designed to enhance the capacity of the nation to prevent, respond to, and recover from any hazard. The incumbent also gathers routine data for management and senior exercise planners, assists with coordinating exercise schedules and project management, provides closely supervised assistance to stakeholders to meet state and local exercise needs, and assists with the dissemination of guidance to federal, state and local agencies on issues relating to exercise planning, conduct, and evaluation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
	As an exercise program specialist, the incumbent works under close supervision and guidance from senior exercise planners to support the routine and repetitive functions of the following types of activities:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;
		Supports the exercise planning and conduct, including but not limited to Principle Level Exercises, SOE&amp;rsquo;s, NLE&amp;rsquo;s, etc.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;
		&lt;span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5;"&gt;Works with federal, state, and local agencies to enhance inter-and intra- state/jurisdictional coordination and to coordinate the delivery of NED exercise programs.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;
		&lt;span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5;"&gt;Provides information and regular updates on exercise activities within the interagency.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;
		&lt;span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5;"&gt;Provides technical advice, guidance and oversight to the nation&amp;rsquo;s first responder community regarding domestic preparedness efforts.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
