Description

The Office of Returned Volunteer Services presents a special employer information session featuring Steve & Kate's Camps.  Come learn about several full-time, year-round Community Director positions they are seeking to fill throughout the States. More details follow.

Want to trade in your cubicle for neighborhood parks, carnivals, and coffee shops? Eager to replace exchanges with automated telephone agents for meaningful, face-to-face interactions with parents, children, and vendors in your community? If so, we have your get out of jail free card! Take a chance and contribute to the community chest by setting up and implementing a phenomenal, self-directed education program at a location near you.

Steve & Kate’s, a company based in Marin County, CA that runs unique summer programs for kids ages 4 to 12 with a focus on self-directed learning, is currently seeking exceptional people (and specifically RPCVs) who are interested in (and have experience with!) setting up a camp site (think marketing, customer service, operations, program implementation, recruiting and hiring seasonal staff, and more) and running it.  These are full-time, year-round positions with benefits and all.  We are hiring for positions in the Bay Area, LA, Washington state, Portland OR, Chicagoland, D.C. metro, NY metro, and Boston.  The Community Director position commences on January 6th with a Retreat at our office in Sausalito, CA.

Are you interested in joining our team?  Register to attend our informational webinar on Thursday, November 21 to find out more about our philosophy and the Community Director positions we are seeking to fill.

All you need is a computer, an Internet connection and your favorite chair.  All RPCVs are invited to participate online but you do need to register in advance. We look forward to “meeting” you then!
