“Planning Your Life & Career Transitions”
Virginia Tech's Graduate Counselor Education Program, in cooperation with Peace Corps' RPCV Career Center, will once again provide no-fee, one-on-one career counseling sessions for any interested RPCVs throughout the spring semester of 2014. The sessions will provide an opportunity for one-on-one counseling in which self-assessments and career concerns can be discussed in a private and focused setting. The career counselors, consisting of practicum students with solid foundations in counseling theory and technique, will provide this free counseling at the Viginia Tech campus in Falls Church, VA (just off the East Falls Church metro – orange line – 6 metro stops from DC).

WHAT: Free Weekly Career Counseling Sessions by Appointment
WHEN: Wednesdays OR Thursdays (between March 19 - May 8)
TIME: WED. (2, 3, & 6 p.m. slots); or THURS. (3, 4, 5, 5:30 & 6 p.m. slots)
WHERE: VA Tech Campus, 7054 Haycock (4th floor), Falls Church, VA
Since these sessions are designed to assist RPCVs in exploring their career direction in a productive professional setting, there is a 3-session commitment (1-hour sessions weekly for 3 weeks), although clients may request additional sessions, if desired.
RPCVs who wish to participate must register in advance. Please be aware that space is limited and, once full, additional interested RPCVs will be placed on a waiting list for any cancelled appointments.

*NOTE: VA Tech is only able to offer these career counseling sessions in person, thus RPCVs living outside the D.C. metro area will not be eligible to participate.Contact Information
