About the Award

  • D-Prize is a competition that joins international development with social entrepreneurship. We believe that the world has already discovered cheap, effective ways to eradicate poverty at the base of the pyramid – today’s problem is lack of distribution of those proven solutions.

Qualifications

  • We posted several new challenges on March 25. We are offering up to $20,000 in seed capital to at least five different social entrepreneurs who want to solve a challenge and better distribute proven technologies in the developing world.
  • The seed capital will be used to fund a three-month pilot of your venture in the developing world.
