KaBOOM! works to bring balanced and active play into the daily lives of all children, particularly those growing up in poverty in America. We do this by creating great places to play, inspiring communities to promote and support play and driving the national discussion about the importance of play in fostering healthy and productive lives. The Associate Project Manager (APM) position will assist in and lead the coordination and execution of KaBOOM! community-built playground projects and activities culminating in a one day volunteer event. The APM coaches the community partner and funding partner through project planning and provides the planning teams with specific resources and tools to achieve positive changes within their communities. We have a fun and dynamic work atmosphere filled with talented Boomers who want to make a difference in children’s lives.
