The Program Coordinator will be expected to:

-Be friendly, organized and reliable

-Have strong work ethic and professionalism

-Help coordinate all aspects of trainings

-Support student recruitment

-Develop and maintain relationships with schools/community partners

-Coordinate volunteers for workshops

-Help collect and evaluate program data and metrics.

-Update and maintain the website

-Manage and develop the organization’s social media presence


-2+ years’ work experience, previous program coordinating experience desired

-Solid writing and proofreading skills

-Good researching skills

-Ability to work weekends (when most of our workshops are held)

-Strong social media skills (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and other platforms)

-Experience overseeing content for a website (preferably WordPress)

-Self-starter, able to work without heavy hands-on oversight

-Ability to adapt quickly and wear multiple hats

-Willingness to travel (up to 25%)

-Able to lift 30+ pounds


-Previous experience as a teacher

-Curiosity to learn about computer science and programming

-Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
