Many persons unaccustomed to dealing with public land and title matters are unable to coherently state their problems. This requires the incumbent to ask probing questions in order to get a clear and accurate understanding of the information sought. Also, the incumbent deals professionally, respectfully, and firmly with people demanding information and services beyond the capabilities and policies of the District Office. When unable to respond to questions, refers the person to the appropriate specialist.
This job is available to applicants with active non-competitive eligibility (NCE) status. NCE is a special federal hiring status applicable for certain federal jobs. For more information on NCE, visit www.peacecorps.gov/nce.
