About the Peace Corps: Peace Corps Volunteers make a difference in the areas of education and English teaching; agriculture, forestry and environment; public health and HIV/AIDS prevention; youth development; community economic development; math and science, and engineering; and information technology. Todays volunteers are tackling important global issues such as education and youth development, HIV/AIDS and malaria prevention, food security, clean water accessibility, environmental conservation, womens empowerment and more.
