Serving in the Peace Corps is a great way to immerse yourself in a new culture, learn a new language, and have the experience of a lifetime. Join us at this WIU Environmental Summit to learn about Volunteer experiences in environmental conservation and food security. Hear from Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and Keynote Speaker Jean Harman, Peace Corps food security team lead: 12 p.m. noon at the University Union.
Your local Peace Corps recruiter, Rok Teasley who served in Moldova, will be on hand to answer your questions and provide tips to guide you through the application process. Graduating Seniors should start the application process now for assignments departing during the first half of 2014.
