Peace Corps Casts Wider Net For Recruitment With Faith-Based Organizations

United States Peace Corps Director Carrie Hessler-Radelet is in Detroit today to speak to the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church. As part of its new strategy… the Peace Corps is casting a wider net for recruitment and strengthening relationships with faith-based organizations across the country.
Peace Corps Director Carrie Hessler-Radelet will part of a panel discussion on June 17th at 3:30 PM about the important role faith-based organizations play in global service. The discussion, titled Embracing the Vision: Global Servant Leadership Opportunities, aims to outline how everyday people can take action to make a difference.
Hessler-Radelet will be joined by Republic of Botswana Ambassador to the U.S. Her Excellency Tebelelo Seretse; Republic of Botswana Embassy Second Secretary of Economic Affairs Mr. Masego Nkgomotsang; and officials from the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
