Description

The University of Arizona is a land grant and a Research I institution, highly regarded for its graduate programs. The College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture is a national leader in sustainable design and planning for arid regions, with emphases on alternative energy, water conservation, landscape ecology, and climate change adaptation.

The Planning program provides options in Land Use and Comprehensive Planning, Environmental and Regional Planning, International and Borderlands Planning, and GeoDesign and GeoSpatial Planning.

Requirements

Apply online to the academic program, as well as to the Fellows program. Applicants must be admitted by The University of Arizona Graduate College and selected for admission to the Fellows program. Fellows carry out a 450 hour internship each year, and participate in community service projects and professional development opportunities. Renewal of funding depends on academic progress and meeting service obligations.
