Description
American Studies is an interdisciplinary program emphasizing public culture in regional, national, and global contexts with concentrations such as history, literature, geography, or education. Internship opportunities may include identifying, developing and supporting needed social service and cultural programs to benefit Hispanic, Native American, and low-income residents of surrounding communities.
Requirements
Two courses will be required during the M.A. program of study. The balance is negotiated with the advisor. Those interested should contact the American Studies Program early in the application process so that proper documentation can be provided by the time of admission.
