Benefits

The Graduate School will match department tuition funds for MI student assistantships whenever possible.  MI students are eligible for in-state tuition. After the completion of 24 course credits in the first year of the MFR program (for students with a Forestry undergraduate degree), students can fulfill their internship requirements via 27 months of Peace Corps service.

Description

Clemson University's College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences (CAFL) offers the degree in collaboration with the Peace Corps Master's International Program. Graduate students enrolled at Clemson will be required to complete 24 credits of academic study on campus towards their MFR in the first year (for students with a Forestry undergraduate degree). Upon successful completion of overseas service as a Peace Corps Volunteer, the student will need to complete a final semester on campus before being awarded an MFR degree.
