Benefits

Fellowships include a full tuition scholarship, health insurance, and a monthly stipend for books and other living expenses. Stipend is $1,565 per month. Each Fellow contributes a participation fee of $1,250 per semester (totaling $5,000 for the 4-semester program).

Description

The Trinity Fellows Program of Marquette University was created in keeping with an ideal central to the mission of the university: the promotion of justice and faith through the development of urban leaders with a commitment to social and economic justice.

Fellows participate in a 21-month study/work program while earning a Masters Degree in one of the following fields of study: M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering or Economics; M.A. in Communication, Dispute Resolution, Educational Policy and Leadership, English, History, International Affairs, Political Science, Public Service, Social and Applied Philosophy, or Theology; or a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).

Fellows complete their academic program in two years, while serving off-campus graduate assistantships at selected non-profit agencies in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. Agency placements involve meaningful, substantive work, and occupy 18 hours per week during the academic year and 40 hours per week during the summer between academic years.
