Description
The full-time MBA program at Northern Arizona Univeristy is fully accredited by AACSB-International and offered in two full-time accelerated formats, 10 months for business majors and 18 months for non-business majors. Class size is limited to 50 students. Students complete 21 hours of team-based, integrated core classes and electives from the career tracks below.
The full-time MBA, is for individuals interested in a career in business - whether it is with a major firm, a regional or local employer, a start-up of your own or a career in the nonprofit or government sectors.
The full-time MBA-ACC program is designed for students with an undergraduate accounting degree. In additional to a degree in accounting, the MBA-ACC program meets the 150-hour CPA education requirements. Students complete the following courses: Advanced Auditing, Cases in Financial Reporting, Financial Reporting & Statement Analysis, and Advanced Tax.
These formats enable students to reduce the overall cost of pursuing a MBA and limit the opportunity costs associated with leaving a full-time job to return to school. NAU MBAs return to the workforce in half the time, thereby recouping lost earning at a faster pace than their counterparts in traditional 2-year MBA programs.
