Description
The University of California at Davis offers a MS degree in Civil Engineering. The degree requires three quarters of in-residence coursework prior to Peace Corps service. Students can opt for either a thesis tract (MSI) or comprehensive examination tract (MSII). Students take coursework appropriate for their MS degree as well as to prepare them for their Peace Corps assignment. They take electives available in their particular area of interest (e.g., environmental, water resources, transportation, structural, geotechnical engineering).
Requirements
Earned B.S. degree in engineering or the sciences with a grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Non-engineering degree applicants will be considered but "make up" engineering course work at the undergraduate level will be required. GRE score is required.
