Current MI Partner Schools

We would like to thank you for your cooperation and support as we have worked to renew our partnerships, and to improve operations overall. We look forward to learning about your programs, contacts, and new and continuing students. Keep us updated on your website changes, student groups, events, and newsletters. We look forward to your continued collaboration with your Peace Corps regional office, and we hope that you will continue to share your experiences with Master's International (MI) staff, your colleagues, and interested partner schools.

Keep in mind that Peace Corps assignments are developed by in-country staff based on the needs and requests of interested communities and the education and skills of the Peace Corps Volunteer. A Peace Corps assignment provides a unique opportunity for students to apply what they have learned in your graduate program to benefit a host country community. Rather than determining a research topic in advance, MI students and advising faculty should be prepared to remain flexible and allow the Peace Corps assignment to shape and inform the academic work. It is important that the MI student is guided and supported by university coordinators and faculty throughout their experience.

We look forward to working with you to maintain a program on your campus that allows for an educational and fulfilling experience for both your students and faculty.

Expanding MI Offerings at Your University

If your university currently has an MI program and would like to expand into another field, there is a separate proposal process which would result in an addendum to the current agreement. For further information, contact the Master's International staff at 202.692.1812 or via email at mastersinternational@peacecorps.gov.
