"I was born speaking Spanish, so the opportunity to come and live in an environment where it was all Spanish was very appealing to me. I was working in the U.S doing an 8 to 5 job, coming home tired, and missing a sense of purpose. Peace Corps gave me a perfect opportunity to do something out of the norm and spark my curiosity; it's an opportunity to do something different and challenge myself as an individual, finding my strengths."
