CU-Boulder Business Students and Alumni Help Make a Difference as Peace Corps Volunteers

A University of Colorado-Boulder article features Brian Lewandowski (Eastern Caribbean), Todd Freedman (Tonga) and Micah Strand (Grenada) who are current and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers and CU-Boulder Leeds School of Business students and alumni.

The trio discussed how their Peace Corps experiences enabled them to work with local communities to implement sustainable solutions and how their experiences enabled them to return to school and the work force as global citizens.

"I think business is a good answer to a lot of things," said Freedman, a current Business Development Volunteer in Tonga. "You can't donate enough to lift a billion people out of poverty. You can help them set up their economy."
