Peace Corps seeks applicants with a wide range of life experience and skills to volunteer overseas! Is the Peace Corps right for you?

The men and women who join the Peace Corps reflect the rich diversity of America in race, ethnic background, age, and religion. They possess varying physical capabilities. They come from all geographical regions, all personal backgrounds, all walks of life. Each brings a unique perspective. What do they all have in common? A sense of adventure and a desire to help others. During an online discussion a representative from the Peace Corps will answer your questions and provide information about the various opportunities of the Peace Corps.

Positions range to suit a variety of professional and life experiences, including: Education, Youth Outreach and Community Development, Business Development, Agriculture, Environment, Health and HIV/AIDS, and Information Technology.

While you serve with Peace Corps, we provide additional training, full medical and dental care, housing, monthly allowance, vacation time, and a re-adjustment allowance when your service is complete. During service, you can keep in touch with friends and family at home and they can also visit you. Peace Corps volunteers receive round trip transportation overseas; a monthly living allowance; full medical/dental coverage; possible student loan deferment, 24 vacation days per year and a $6075 readjustment allowance after completion of service.
