While serving abroad for 27 months, you receive a great international experience that will compliment your degree as well as gain valuable skills helping others help themselves. You receive a monthly stipend, transportation, medical and dental care, and a readjustment allowance at the end of your service. Returned Volunteers also receive non-competitive eligibility for federal jobs.
